Brought to my attention

Posted by

I received a phone call yesterday from someone claiming to be the owner of db pro mix dbpromix.  He alleged we had some formed opinion that was not true on our web page and asked me to take it down. His concerns that his name is trademarked and we infinging by slander and using the name to represent ingredients that are not in his product. It is my apology to all my blog readers if it was also your opinion that I had slandered a company and used their trademark as representation. I want to make two things clear. One it was not my objective to slander the company. Two we do not represent this company in any way shape or form nor do we own the rights to the trademark therefore making no representation of that trademark.

My solution was presented very nicely, because at that particular moment I was unsure of exactly what I had written and what the complaint was about, please copy and paste and email me what you would like removed.  Before I could even finish I was told in a much louder tone that "all I want is for you to remove my effing name from your webpage(as if we were claiming to own the product) and I am going to effin sue you, I am going to effin sue you.  Do you know........." at this point I had drown out all unintelligent conversation and end a sensless phone call.

I did indeed look over the entire web page and take any information that they may have not agreed with.  Since we received no email I can not be certain but when making comparisons for now when I use the name I will be extra careful. By removing context I want to make sure that anyone and everyone knows that we did not get where we are at by taking or using anybody elses wordage or representation.
